What we collect
When you register, we collect your first and last name, email address, country, city (optional), how you plan to join (in person or virtually), the event season you chose, and your message or intention if you write one.
If you buy the 108 Experience Pass, our payment processor collects your payment details. We never see or store your card number.
If you sign up for the newsletter, we store your email address and where you signed up from.
Why we use it
To place your light on the global participant map — city and country only, never your name or email.
To send event details, the practice guide, and the timing for the event you registered for.
To confirm your email address, so the map and our mailings reflect real people.
To process Experience Pass payments and send you what you purchased.
Who helps us run it
Beehiiv — our newsletter platform, which holds your email address if you subscribed.
Stripe — our payment processor, which handles card data and sends us a receipt confirmation.
Base44 — the platform that hosts this site and stores registrations.
Each of these companies only receives what it needs to do its part, and none of them are permitted to use your details for their own marketing.
Cookies and local storage
We keep a small amount of information in your browser, such as circles you save on the Local Circles page and whether you have already registered. We do not use advertising cookies or sell anything about your behaviour to third parties.
How long we keep it
Registrations are kept while the movement is running so your participation history stays intact. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
Every mailing includes a one-click unsubscribe link — clicking it stops email to you without you losing your registration.
You can ask us to correct or delete your details at any time by writing to [email protected]. We will do it within 30 days, except where we are required to keep a payment record.
Children
This event is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 16. If a young practitioner registers, a parent or guardian should write to us and we will handle it.
